SUMMARY:Advancing careers & the SDGs: how a co-curricular program prepares students to make a difference in their professional paths
DESCRIPTION:While many agree that the SDGs should play a critical role in our students’ education\, helping students to connect their passions and career goals to be aligned with these global goals promises to both benefit them and our society in general. The University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s SDG Scholar Program (housed within their College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources)\, seeks to both spark curiosity about the goals and help students chart their professional paths to be aligned with them. With one aim of the program being to students’ professional networks\, we work to illuminate lesser-known and innovative careers\, normalize non-linear professional paths\, develop critical thinking and cultural competency\, and bring students together to problem-solve with peers with different life experiences than themselves. \nLearn more about the program (and potentially join us as an SDG expert\, if you’re interested!) by attending this session about creatively re-combining resources and connections to benefit students\, our countries\, and the world. \nPresenter: Brianne Wolf\, coordinator of global learning and engagement strategies\, College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources\, University of Nebraska-Lincoln \nRegister: https://unl.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJUuf-ihrjkvHtCaGd6tALbcYl7WxCtWO-x3

SUMMARY:Journées Scientifiques – Scientific Days (en français)
\nLes différentes présentations seront divisées suivant les trois sous-thèmes suivants: “Fill the gaps”\, “Change the world”\, “Recherche et éthique”.
