Students Working With Local Communities for the SDGs – Examples from Diverse Contexts
Event Description:
Countries around the world have recognized the importance of youth and local communities as key stakeholders in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the SDGs. On March 3, 2026, the UC Davis UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Interns will provide a forum to share examples and lessons learned from students working in different community contexts for the SDGs. The event will share personal experiences, challenges, and insights to inform new ways to connect global goals and local priorities and drive action for the SDGs.
