Host an Event SDG A&A Week

  • Volunteer to Host an Event during SDG Action & Awareness Week

    Thank you for your interest in hosting a virtual event during SDG Action & Awareness Week, 2023 (6 March - 10 March). Please review the event requirements and requested event information below and submit your event information using the form. Questions? Contact universityglobalcoalition@gmail.com

    Event Requirements:

    -Event must take place during the week of March 6 - March 10, 2023. You/your team select the date and time you would like to host the event.

    -Event must be free of charge (no cost) and open to anyone wishing to attend.

    -Event must be focused on an SDG-related topic and applicable to a broad audience. Some examples: a guest lecture about gender equality in higher education, a student discussion group about how to start an SDG-focused student organization.

    -Event can be lecture style, discussion-based, or action-based.

    -Event must list a point of contact who can assist in answering any attendee questions and is available during the event to help attendees with any technical issues.

    -University Global Coalition will help promote your event and will share your event information on the UGC website and social media; however, you/your team are responsible for planning and executing the event. UGC will publicize your event through our communications and on our webpage. We encourage you to invite others as well!
