McGill University SDG Week
February 7 @ 12:00 pm - February 11 @ 1:00 pm
The McGill Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Week is taking place from February 7th to 11th, cohosted by 12 McGill student groups, featuring 5 days of activities, panel discussions, workshops, and virtual research brunches and field trips on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations in 2015. Most events are online and open to the public.
The 17 goals are divided into 5 thematic groups: environment, basic needs, inequalities, sustainable living, and economic and political development. Each day corresponds to a thematic group, with the events organized on that day connected to that group of SDGs. It is a week for the McGill community to collectively learn about, engage with, and take action on the SDGs, at both local and global level. To learn more about the McGill SDG Week and the events, follow our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/mcgillsdgweek. The majority of events are online.
