In this session, the UNAI SDG 1 Hub Chair will present a project focused on localizing the 2030 Agenda in Piracicaba, São Paulo, Brazil. This region is uniquely characterized by its traditional ‘Caipira’ roots while serving as a prominent hub for scientific and technological development with vast cultural heritage.
We will discuss the methodology employed, designed to be replicated in other regions to strengthen the local adaptation of the 2030 Agenda, increasing its reach and transformative impact. Furthermore, we will invite leaders from the SDG 2 and SDG 4 Working Groups, as well as SDG 18—a Brazilian goal dedicated to ethnic-racial equality—to share their insights and experiences
