Mental Health as an SDG: From Theory into Action
March 10, 2023 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Mental health has increasingly become a priority issue on international development agendas. It is a key component of health and wellbeing, worker safety, housing, inclusivity, discrimination and climate change. As part of the SDG agenda, mental health awareness must be integrated in a comprehensive manner, impacting our approach to multiple SDGs.
Student Mental Health Startup Engage You(th) will share their experience creating a grassroots intervention that tackles mental health in their community. This will be followed by an interactive discussion about promoting Mental Health awareness and integrating SDG approaches.
