Empowering Students for Sustainability

Virtual Eastern Standard Time Zone, GA

This event is focused on increasing SDG awareness among students from Central University in Ghana. There is a huge gap in the area of climate education, and integrating climate or environmental knowledge in national education curriculum. Prior to this, there persist to be low knowledge about the impending impacts of climate change, and the need to take actions now. More so, localizing information around SDGs persist to enable grassroots individual to comprehend and take individual actions also seeks to be a hurdle in the Ghanaian community. Henceforward, Sustainability Week Central, a local sustainability week group within the international network of Sustainability Week International believes it is imperative to leverage on this SDGs A & A week to raise a massive awareness within our local campus.
