Journey de la Sostenibilidad (17.00-19.00 CST)

The event is organized by Ruta Azul from Tec de Monterrey, Campus Sonora Norte. During the event, the students will share their experiences, lessons learned on their successful projects in the state of Sonora, which have contributed to raising the awareness towards mitigating environmental issues and strengthening the engagement of the students with their environment.

2023 Great Lakes Conference: Managing Fisheries and Exploring Islands

The 33rd Annual Great Lakes conference will feature two themes with three presentations per theme as well as a panel discussion with Q/A from participants. The themes are Fisheries Management in the Great Lakes and Great Lakes Islands. The day will also feature a presentation on PFAS in Great Lakes Fish. The conference is sponsored by Michigan State University Department of Fisheries and Wildlife, Institute of Water Research, Michigan Sea Grant Extension, Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, and MSU Extension. Support is provided by US Geological Survey Water Resources Research Program. The conference is free to attend.

Global Shared Learning Classroom con metodología COIL y desarrollo de competencias éticas y ciudadanas.

Bajo el proyecto TEC GLOBAL SHARE LEARNING CLASSROOM y la metodología COIL, dos universidades ITESM (México) y URV (España) se unen con alumnos en dos materias integrados en equipos internacionales, que bajo uno de los 17 ODS de la Agenda 2030 cada equipo investiga, mapea y propone soluciones viables, a corto plazo para coadyuvar en algunas de las metas del ODS otorgado y que tenga impacto real  (social/ambiental) con acciones concretas en su territorio (México y España).
