Needs of training to embed sustainability into education (10-11 am EST; 15.00-16.00 GMT)
March 6 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
If we’re determined to tackle climate change, ecological emergency, and to achieve the other sustainable development goals, it is crucial that people involved in teaching and education are receiving training on how to embed SDGs in curriculum and link with institutional strategy and objectives. We must empower and engage them to be part of the change and strategy to achieve the SDGs. There are many countries around the world where academics are not well trained, and they are not sure how to embed sustainability in curriculum and education strategy. They are still using traditional methods and learners are also not learning in an effective environment. Hence, there is a need to provide training to those academics or institutions how to enhance learning and teaching environment as well as embedding sustainability in the curriculum.
